Technician - CPP Operations

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor boilers and associated CPP equipment safely and efficiently.

- Monitor boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, steam generation, fuel consumption and water levels.

- Carry out boiler start-up, shutdown and emergency operations as per SOPs.

- Perform routine inspections and identify operational abnormalities.

- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

- Maintain boiler logbooks, shift records and statutory documentation.

- Ensure compliance with boiler regulations, safety standards and plant procedures.

- Support efficient power plant operations while minimizing downtime and fuel consumption.

- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety within the boiler and utility areas.

Candidate Requirements

- ITI qualification with a valid First-Class Boiler Attendant Certificate.

- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in boiler operations or captive power plant operations.

- Good knowledge of boiler safety, troubleshooting and statutory requirements.

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
