Sr Mgr/Mgr - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
• Maintain reactors, vessels, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, pipelines and material-handling systems.
• Handle maintenance of utilities such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors and water systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures, conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Minimise equipment downtime and improve reliability, availability and operational efficiency.
• Plan shutdown maintenance and coordinate with production, engineering, utility and quality teams.
• Manage spare-parts inventory and ensure timely availability of critical spares.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, fabrication and installation work.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, modification and qualification activities.
• Maintain equipment history cards, preventive-maintenance records, SOPs and engineering documentation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, permit-to-work and pharmaceutical engineering standards.
• Support internal, customer and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

Candidate Profile

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• 7–8 years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, API, chemical or process-manufacturing plants is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, utility systems and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with cGMP documentation, equipment qualification and engineering audits.
• Good troubleshooting, team coordination and communication skills.
