Job Description

Role Purpose

The Site Head is accountable for end-to-end leadership of a large greenfield chemical manufacturing site, covering project execution, commissioning, stabilization, and full-scale operations. The role ensures safe, compliant, cost-effective, and customer-centric operations, while institutionalizing engineering, QA, EHS, TQM, and technology absorption frameworks aligned with corporate strategy.

Key Objectives

1. Execute and commission large-scale greenfield projects within approved CAPEX, timelines, and zero-harm objectives.
2. Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations, achieving capacity utilization, cost benchmarks, and customer satisfaction.
3. Establish robust engineering support, quality systems, EHS, and TQM practices from inception.
4. Build a scalable organization capable of managing multi-technology, hazardous, export-oriented chemical operations.

Education

1. B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering ( throughout First Division only from Reputed Institute)
2. MBA (preferred)

Experience

20–25 years of experience in chemical manufacturing

Strong exposure to greenfield project execution, commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting

Design and technology background desirable
