Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Sourcing: Develop and implement overarching procurement strategies that align with company goals and risk mitigation strategies.
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage a robust network of national and international suppliers, develop a suitable profile leading to long term benefit of company.
Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations for pricing, delivery terms, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Cost Optimization: Analyse expenditures, drive cost-saving initiatives, and optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Also develop a short Term & Long Term cost saving plan with respect to procurement budget.
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of purchasing staff, and develop the second line under him.
Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor market trends, mitigate supply risks, and ensure all purchases meet legal and company standards.
Core Skills: Advanced contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and data-driven analytical skills.
