Verify the adequacy of the HSE Management System to meetISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018requirements.
Train new employees on HSE system requirements.
Conduct mock drills and ensure the entire team responds as per their defined individual roles.
Ensure availability of adequately trained and competent manpower, required infrastructure, material handling facilities, storage, preservation and communication systems to meet HSE requirements.
Ensure effective internal communication on HSE matters, including participation in various HSE meetings.
Ensure all on-site contractors follow the defined HSE systems and procedures.
Promotecontinual improvement in HSE performance.
Protect workers from reprisals when reporting incidents, hazards, risks and opportunities.
Support the establishment and effective functioning ofHealth & Safety Committees.
Ensure awareness of significant HSE aspects, hazards and related actual or potential HSE impacts/risks associated with work activities.
Create awareness regarding employees' contribution to the effectiveness of theHSE Management System (HSEMS)and the benefits of enhanced HSE performance.
Ensure awareness of the implications of non-conformance with HSEMS requirements, including failure to fulfil compliance obligations.
Promote contribution towards the effectiveness of theOH&S Management Systemand improved OH&S performance.
Ensure implementation of corrective actions arising fromincidents and investigation findings.
Ensure implementation of actions identified forhazards and OH&S risks.
