Key Responsibilities
Monitor and evaluate corrosion-related issues in plant equipment, pipelines, pressure vessels, and other mechanical assets.
Identify and assess potential damage mechanisms affecting equipment integrity and reliability.
Support the implementation and maintenance of asset integrity management systems.
Ensure compliance with GFR requirements and applicable statutory standards.
Conduct and coordinate mechanical inspections and non-destructive testing activities.
Review NDT reports and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
Develop and implement Risk-Based Inspection plans based on equipment criticality and failure risk.
Maintain inspection records, compliance documentation, and equipment history.
Coordinate with maintenance, production, safety, and engineering teams for inspection and integrity-related activities.
Support root cause analysis for equipment failures, corrosion incidents, and mechanical integrity concerns.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience in Corrosion Engineering.
Knowledge of various Damage Mechanisms affecting industrial equipment.
Hands-on exposure to Asset Integrity Management.
Understanding of GFR Compliance requirements.
Valid NDT Level-II Certification.
Practical experience in Risk-Based Inspection (RBI).
Knowledge of mechanical inspection standards, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
