Manager - Process Engineering

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse, and implement improvements in chemical manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
• Collaborate with senior management on process design and implementation of new or modified processes
• Troubleshoot complex process issues and minimize downtime and operational losses
• Lead technology transfer for NPD, including tech adsorption and implementation using existing assets
• Hands-on involvement in pilot-scale trials for plant validation of NPD
• Prepare BEP, CAP mapping, equipment selection, and feasibility studies
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; conduct risk assessments and audits
• Analyse process data and prepare performance and improvement reports for management
• Work closely with Production, R&D, QA/QC, and Maintenance teams
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• 7–11 years of experience in Process Engineering, with 3–4 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of chemical processes, plant operations, and process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, etc.)
• Exposure to process optimization, safety regulations, and data analysis
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
