Key Roles / Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsible for Operation, maintenance, and distribution of all Utilities(CT, Brine, Chiller, compressors, N2 Plant), Coal Fire Boiler & MEE Plant.
2. Analyzing reporting, giving recommendations, and developing strategies on improvement of utilities and Plant equipment.
3. Responsible for developing documents and administrator in-house commissioning of assigned equipment.
4. Manage the functions of troubleshooting and preventive /breakdown maintenance of Equipment, Systems and Utilities / Boiler to reduce downtime to minimum.
5. Break down analysis of equipment for improvement in performance of Equipment by applying different kind analysis methods.
6. Identify and implement Energy Saving Schemes, Water balance challenges.
7. Planning and execution of various new installations and shutdown.
8. Helps to maintain a safe environment by ensuring all fire protection systems healthier.
9. Assists the utility engineer in preparing specifications for contract services.
10. Liasonning services and activities of boilers.
11. Coordinates and supervises utility outages and the performance of emergency and routine maintenance of utilities and facilities.
12. Facilities a work environment thar encourages knowledge, respect and development of skill among the associates and contractual manpower.
13. Supervise All activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies & coordination with site management activities.
14. Develop and deploy necessary maintenance and reliability procedures for the utility and plant equipment.
15. Comply with all EHS/PSM policies, regulations & procedures and execute EHS/PSM roles and responsibilities as a key member of PSM program leader in PSM Housekeeping and BBS.
16. Monitor equipment inventory and manager orders as required.
17. Continually evaluate and driver improvement in pricing for contract and vendor services.
18. Support emergency repairs of equipment to minimize downtime and subsequently leading the RCA for failures and put preventive measures to prevent recurrence.
19. Accountable for people development and talent management for maintenance and utility associates by giving various kind of Trainings.
20. Co Ordinating the contracting function for all maintenance work including skills, Trades and services needed at the plant.
21. Plant annual budget expanses of utilities and maintenance.
22. Demonstrate strong leadership and good working knowledge in safe work practices and maintenance excellence.
23. Review technical datasheet and participate in equipment selection for new equipment installations.
24. To ensure proper Usage of spares and resources to meet financial targets.
25. Any Other task as and when assigned by HOD’s.
