Junior Officer Mechanical

Job Description

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Carry out dismantling, inspection, repair, replacement, and assembly of pumps, gearboxes, valves, agitators, compressors, blowers, conveyors, and other rotating/static equipment.
• Perform alignment, coupling, bearing replacement, and mechanical fitting activities.
• Identify equipment faults and support troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper lubrication and maintenance of plant machinery.
• Execute maintenance jobs as per work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and PPE requirements.
• Coordinate with production and other maintenance teams for smooth execution of maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records and report job completion to the supervisor.
• Participate in shutdown maintenance and plant turnaround activities.
