Instrumentation Engineering Officer

Role Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for Instrumentation Engineering design, project execution, and automation system activities for chemical process plants, ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions with quality and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Basic Engineering / FEED Engineering activities for instrumentation projects
• Prepare and review Instrument Index, Instrument List, I/O List, Datasheets, TBA & Inquiry Documents
• Support preparation of P&ID, Layout, HAZOP and SIL Review activities
• Review engineering packages as per company design standards and IS/IEC codes
• Prepare and review Technical Specification Sheets (TSS), Instrument Data Sheets, Hook-up Drawings, JB & Cable Schedules
• Selection of field instruments as per application requirements
• Design and selection of BPCS & ESD systems
• Support DCS/ESD erection, commissioning, FAT & SAT activities
• Experience in DCS logic diagrams and programming exposure preferred
• Design & selection of F&G, CCTV and Telecom systems
• Review vendor offers, perform technical evaluation, and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE)
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors, and project execution teams
• Support SAP activities including Material Code Creation and PR/SR Creation
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, procedures, and safety requirements

Candidate Profile:

✔ 8–10 years of experience in Instrumentation Engineering Design & Project Execution
✔ B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control Engineering
✔ Experience in Chemical / Petrochemical / Process Industry preferred
✔ Exposure to designing 500+ instruments and 1500+ DCS I/O points
✔ Hands-on experience with DCS, ESD systems, Field Instrumentation & Control Systems
✔ Experience working with engineering consultants and EPC projects preferred
✔ Knowledge of ANSI, ISA, IS/IEC standards
✔ Training/Certification in DCS or ESD preferred
