Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resources (HR) Management
-Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and exit formalities for employees.
-Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
-Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
-Handle employee grievances and maintain positive employee relations.
-Monitor and ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
-Plan and manage employee training and development programs.
-Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality.
2. Legal & Statutory Compliance
-Ensure compliance with all applicable industrial and labour laws (PF, ESIC, Factories Act, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
-Manage factory licenses, renewals, and statutory filings.
-Coordinate with external consultants and legal advisors as needed.
-Maintain accurate records related to legal and regulatory compliance.
3. General Administration & Plant Facility Management
-Oversee security, housekeeping, and general upkeep of factory premises.
-Manage day-to-day plant utilities – electricity, water supply, and general facility management.
-Manage vendor contracts and relationships for non-technical services (tiffin service, transport, cleaning, security, etc.).
-Oversee transportation and company vehicle management, including drivers and fuel/maintenance tracking.
-Manage asset management, office supplies, and administrative resources.
-Ensure smooth functioning of office equipment, utilities, and general infrastructure.
4. Assistance in Legal & Administrative Matters
-Support management in handling legal matters, including documentation and coordination with legal advisors.
-Assist in drafting contracts, agreements, and other legal/administrative documents.
-Keep management informed of changes in applicable laws and regulations.
5. People Management & Reporting
-Act as the primary grievance handler and problem-solver for plant-floor and staff issues.
-Prepare and submit regular reports to management on HR, compliance, and administrative matters.
-Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, HR, Law, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
