Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Head – Operations to lead manufacturing activities at a large-scale industrial fabrication facility. The role requires strong technical expertise, operational leadership, cost management, and the ability to deliver complex engineering projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end manufacturing and fabrication operations involving pressure vessels, piping assemblies, heavy structures and industrial equipment.
Develop operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, cost control and delivery performance.
Manage production schedules, resource allocation, quality standards and project execution.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards, statutory requirements and applicable international engineering codes.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, digitalisation and operational excellence initiatives.
Oversee vendor relationships, client coordination and cross-functional project execution.
Lead large multidisciplinary teams of engineers, supervisors and skilled manpower.
Maintain effective manufacturing quality systems, audits and inspection processes.
Required Expertise
Extensive leadership experience in heavy fabrication, industrial manufacturing or engineering project environments.
Strong understanding of welding, fabrication, NDT and quality inspection practices.
Working knowledge of international standards such as ASME, API and AWS.
Experience managing complex manufacturing facilities, budgets, project timelines and large teams.
Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management and strategic leadership capabilities.
