Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
As an in-charge of Utilities and offsites operation and commissioning, you will be responsible for safe installation, commissioning and change over to steady state operation. The Utilities and Offsites includes, but not limited to following
- Screw air compressors
- Desiccant type air dryers
- PSA type Nitrogen generation units
- Induced draft cooling towers and cooling water treatment
- Refrigerant based vapour compression chillers
- Demineralization plant, RO plant, Waste water treatment plant
- Coal fired AFBC Boiler or Coal fired AFBC Thermic Fluid heater
- Steam turbine generator minimum 4 MW
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities of Utilities and offsites are as below (Not limited to)
- Supporting the Mechanical lead in monitoring the installation of Utility units
- Preparing pre-commissioning and commissioning documents based on vendor documents, under guidance of consultant
- Review vendor O&M manuals
- Preparing commissioning plan under guidance of consultant
- Preparing commissioning budget under guidance of consultant
- Preparing list of catalyst and chemicals and create the SAP codes, as may be required.
- Preparing standard operating procedures,
- Any other requirement that may arise
Technical Skills:
- Acquaintance to installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of various Utilities packages
- O&M of various Utilities packages as mentioned above
- Trouble shooting of various Utilities packages as mentioned above
- Maintenance Planning
- Budgeting (basic Knowledge)
- Commissioning and operating the plant within stipulated budget
