Executive / Sr. Executive - Synthesis R&D

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute laboratory synthesis reactions as per project requirements and process protocols.
• Perform route scouting, process optimization, and scale-up activities for specialty / fine chemicals.
• Maintain proper documentation of experiments, observations, batch records, and analytical data.
• Handle chemical reactions, purification, distillation, and isolation activities independently.
• Coordinate with Analytical, Production, and QA teams for smooth technology transfer activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and laboratory housekeeping standards.
• Support new product development and process improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues during lab and pilot plant trials.
• Prepare daily progress reports and update project status to reporting manager.
• Knowledge of reaction mechanisms, analytical interpretation, and lab equipment handling is preferred.
