Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all utility operations across the plant/cluster.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply and efficient operation of utilities such as Boilers, Turbines, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Chillers, RO/DM Plant, ETP/STP, and Power Distribution Systems.
- Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives to optimize operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.
- Lead a team of utility engineers, supervisors, and technicians while driving operational excellence.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Projects, and EHS departments for smooth plant operations.
- Prepare utility budgets, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance related to utility operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Boiler, Turbine, HVAC, Chiller, Cooling Tower, Air Compressor, Power Distribution, Water Treatment, and Utility Management.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Expertise in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and energy management.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and statutory compliance.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in Energy Management or Boiler Operations will be an added advantage.
